The Foundation exists to inspire philanthropy that will enhance the quality and availability of healthcare services for the patients and communities served by North Texas Medical Center.
Making a difference
The North Texas Medical Center Foundation partners with generous individuals, businesses and foundations to contribute the resources necessary to provide unmatched healthcare to our region. Donor support helps expand service lines, purchase the latest equipment and technology, provide regional outreach, and support the education of healthcare professionals. The Foundation has been a vital source of funding for projects throughout the organization that enhances patient care and improves the patient experience.

North Texas Medical Center is an independent not-for-profit healthcare system. All revenue is reinvested back into the organization to support the enhancement and improvement of patient care for the region. The Foundation supports important projects that are vital to enhancing healthcare, but may not receive priority funding due to limited hospital resources. Furthermore, all decisions are made locally and based upon the needs of the population served in our area by community volunteers serving on both the hospital board and foundation board.

Darin Allred
Executive Director
NTMC Foundation
Darin Allred is a Gainesville native who became Executive Director of the NTMC Foundation in 2021. He also serves as the Director of Marketing for NTMC. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University and hosts a weekly SportsTalk show on KGAF Radio. Darin is actively involved in the community. He is currently a Cooke County United Way Board Member, a Gainesville High School Alumni Association Board Member and is a member of the Gainesville Kiwanis Club. He also served on the 2022 Cooke County United Way Allocations Committee and is the Past President of the Texas Tech Alumni Association - Cooke County Chapter. In 2017, he was named the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year.
